Well the plot is kinda predictable especially if youve seen ST II WoK but they kinda mix it up somewhat (by that I mean other characters do things compared to the old movie), it doesnt bring anything new but its still full of action and stuff so it'll keep you going.

I would rank this movie slightly below 2009 Trek but definitely better than any of the Next Gen movies. So at least its got that going for it.

Ok, saw Star Trek. It's better than Iron Man 3 but some stuff didn't make sense to me. Still, good film and much better than how I felt about Iron Man 3.

Iron Man 3 was a big let down, and Star Trek was just as good as the first one in 09. Money well spent.

You know what Batman has throughout that chronology that Iron Man doesn't? The character is actively changing and adapting in each film to new foes. And he doesn't f**k whine.

Tony Stark, you f**k bitch, you saved the planet from an alien horde and you're having f**k anxiety attacks because you might not be the biggest shit in the universe? Give me a f**k break.

I like his character when he's funny and an ass in general, but one thing I absolutely detest is a Superhero having a f**k ANXIETY ATTACK OVER A TRIUMPHANT SUCCESS. GROW SOME BALLS.

If I wanted to watch a whiny bitch I'd go find some emo's and sit back with a bag of popcorn.

In case you hadn't noticed, I have a significant amount of derision for Iron Man 3.

No. You're Tony f**k Stark. You've fought numerous other times. Why was that time any different? At least in the second one his menopausal moment involved alcohol and immature banter/action.

In this one he needed a paper bag. Like Urkel.

I am sooooo looking forward to Zack Snyder's rendition of Superman. You know why? Because Superman isn't one to bitch and Zack Snyder usually kills those that do in his films. He has no remorse. He's a bit like the George R. R. Martin of movies.

Pros:
Best movie Ive seen this summer.
Plenty of action
Michael Shannon nails it as General Zod

Cons:
editing is haphazard
A bit long
Very little humor, its all serious

Im pleasantly surprised Zack Snyder turned in a competent movie, after his crappy Watchmen and Sucker Punch, he can make something good after all- or maybe its because the Batman writers like Chris Nolan and David Goyer helped a lot- either way its good. Cavill has the chops to be Superman though he doesnt have much humor because of the serious script. for once we see some real bad guys in a Superman movie, not some bald guy like Lex Luthor.
