yeah, it's insane amounts of damage. i guess typically they don't hit such places but it seems like that's the ost damage ive seen from a tornado

by the way, nab, apparently the 1999 tornado in Moore hit 318mph, which is the upper limit of F5 on the old scale. meaning they were 1mph from F6, which the inventor of the scale called an "inconceivable tornado" (the old scale went to F12, which is mach 1). they've changed the scale, and now EF5 = over 200mph.

I'm hearing mass casualties at the school which basically doesn't exist anymore. dozens of children dead.

yeah i'm hearing the same. actually news places typically under report deaths, almost always. if they are reporting dozens of kids dead, i think there are dozens of kids dead, which is very sad, and frankly looking at the destruction, only hope would pretty much be under ground. it's insane damage. for comparison, here's the view of the 1999 tornado -- the strongest winds ever recorded near the surface of earth. it's a tiny path of damage

well I'm listening to radio and TV and haven't heard anything about them saying the kids at the elementary school are dead. Its probably true, but just saying I haven't heard anyone say it yet.

up to 34 dead. 7 of which are kids from Tower Plaza elementary. My mom said the news there is reporting that the kids they found so far had likely died from drowning. Not sure how that happened but its what her news is reporting anyways.
